*QUICK UPDATE!* (In between dashing between Diana and Jolene's whelping pens, lol.) We have been extraordinarily blessed with NINE gorgeous and healthy puppies on 9/27 at 12:30 am and at 1:30-ish am! Diana had one HUGE pied hunk of love, and Jolene (never to be outdone by ANYONE) had EIGHT breathtaking babies! Mama's and bebes are doing beautifully! I'll be updating our IG site daily, and check back here for some new blogs I've been working on, and more information on this litter, and our two other litters planned for 2025 and early 2026. I've put all of my heart into this moment in time, and words can't express the joy I feel sharing this news, and for the families who get to experience a puppy and dog from these breedings. AH! And who am I going to keep back to train up and show? Well, I definitely have some ideas... TBD! Sending love from all of us in Glen Ellen!

Breeding announcement and pending puppy arrival for Diana and Big Sky Frenchies Bodhi at the end of September! I have long admired Bodhi, and his owner Kirsty. and the stunning and healthy puppies he consistently produces. He is OFA CHIC certified (#169806) with a rare EXCELLENT hip rating (like Diana's grandsire!), gorgeous and functional structure, and Bo has a mellow, teddy bear personality. He reminds me so much of Diana's sire, however he is from a different pedigree, which will be a wonderful outcross for us to potentially keep back for our program.  We won't know how many pups will be available, but feel free to shoot me an email and we can chat about the wait list process. Excited is an understatement about these puppies and their potential! Keep those well-wishes and sweet energy sent Diana's way as she approaches her fist litter! Thank you for the love sent her way!

Wonder Woman Diana (GRCH Bucky & CH Phemme) is my pride and joy baby girl! She has her OFA Spine certificate, OFA heart, OFA BOAS and OFA eye certifications; along with radiographic and vet analysis of her patellas, elbows and hips, which will be submitted for her CHIC later this year. She is my daily hiking buddy (she moves beautifully), cuddle buddy, and is a compact (23 lbs), thick boned and GORGEOUS supermodel of a gal. She's a carbon copy of her dam, ABKC Champion Phemme; but a bit more compact and muscular like her sire. Diana, like her sisters and brother, are my expression of "ideal" for this breed in health, temperament and structure. She is truly in a class by herself with her pedigree, titles and health testing and we are so honored to welcome her pups into the world VERY soon. Stay tuned!

Another exciting announcement! Jolene and T-Bone are CONFIRMED! Pups due the end of September, as well! (Yes, I am indeed going to be a very BUSY and excited lady!

Gorgeous T-Bone (GRCH Bucky & Jackie) and his OFA cert rating him Normal at 12-months old. Often, a dog's hip scores will improve after age 2. I've started waiting for hip certifications until they are older, (ideally past age 2), and relying on radiographs to evaluate them during their OFA spine evals where we can see if a dog's hips look correct and healthy. I'm confident in my vet's analysis and like not having to subject my girls to too many radiographs, as I've done in the past with prelim OFA's AND finals. It's costly and bulky, I've come to understand. As long as a dog has been thoroughly evaluated for soundness by a vet team, and the pedigree of the dog is strong, I'm confident that I am making informed breeding decisions. However, CHIC certs are the end goal, always! I'm excited to see T-Bone, Jolene, Diana AND Bubbles collect their certs as their kin have done, as well. It's definitely a marathon... not a race. But the end goal is always to breed the healthiest, most correct and functional Frenchies possible.

Jolene (Diana's littermate) captured at a 2024 ABKC show where she won her first Champion class. JoJo has completed her CHIC certification this year (OFA GOOD Hip finals!), along with her RFGS/BOAS OFA with a crazy & incredible score of 0! Maxi and I joke that we can't find anything to improve on Jolene. From the tip of her tail, to nose, Jolene is beyond gorgeous and correct. Her breathing is whisper-quiet, her temperament is the perfect amount of fun drive for hikes and play, and she's a gentle and sensible family member who gets along with everyone. Breeding her to T-Bone is to substantiate and solidfy what is already working with these dogs: Show quality structure, open breathing, gorgeous expression, beautiful movement and multi-generational (and verified!) health. Fingers and toes crossed! I'll keep everyone posted on our IG accocunt, and feel free to send me a message on how to potentially get on the list for one of these special babies.

Bubbles' first and second litter ("The Bubblings") went so well, and all of her babies found their way to the most amazing homes. Little Otto stayed back for some training and preparation to live in El Salvador with a wonderful family whom we now call friends. Maxi and I can't wait to take a vacation down there and visit them... and to see Otto Bubbling frolicking in the surf. We loved these litters so much, and want to keep back one of Bubbles' pups to continue her legacy. We are in talks for her final litter to be with Drover! How amazing will this pairing be? (Solid lilac and blue with the most incredible temperaments, health, expression... ahhhh!) I can't put into words how much she means to us and how wonderful and heathy of a dog Bubs is. She continues to asound me with her athleticism, incredible breathing, sound and loving temperament... not to mention her beauty, thick lil booty and strong hips and knees. This lady is built to run, hike and play with ease, as our breed should be able to. I'm so excited about the possibility of Bubblings III running around the house... and I'll definitely keep everyone posted. I'd love to finish her CHIC evaluations, but for now we have her normal OFA Spine report, normal OFA Patellas, normal OFA Heart, OFA preliminary GOOD hip evaluation and OFA normal eyes certificate. She has NO allergies (none of my breeding dogs do... VERY important to me to try to breed out) and is also rated a 1 in the RFGS/BOAS testing and OFA cert. Please ask to see any of my dogs health scores and exams. I'd be happy to share!
